The season is SPRING. The cold has finally receeded, and leaves are beginning to sprout from trees. Pokemon are coming out of hibernation and poking their heads out into the world again.

There is no greater honor in Eridu City than to be chosen to become a sage at the Shrine of the Lake Spirits. Located at the center of the city, the Shrine is a holy grove by the lakefront, known all over the region for its beauty and its ability to call upon its gods. As the only part of Eridu City located on the ground, the scourge have overrun the shrine. What was once sacred is now sacriledge. Beware the scourge Mesprit, Azelf, and Uxie.

A crystal clear lake, Lake Ophir is the origin of Eridu City. People gathered around its pure waters and refused to despoil it with brick and mortar. The lake is as holy as the shrine, but despite that, there was never particularly noteworthy about it--not until now. Now, the lake is now dark and brackish, not fit for drinking--even touching it isn't advisable. An unsettling whirlpool has opened up in the center of the lake. Where it leads, no one knows.

An ancient gardevoir named Vashti lives here, only a few miles out from the edges of the city. She's known to be a recluse, usually civil but far from friendly. Historians have beseeched interviews of her, but Vashti's answers are always short and unhelpful. The scourge have attempted to battle her, but they've found out that she has not grown weak in her old age. For now, the scourge leave her be, but she seems to be waiting for something... or perhaps someone?
Pal Park

Not a tame park, Pal Park is simply nature left to its course, with the local grass pokemon as its only gardeners. Considered a beautiful location near the city, it was a popular place for people to meet and gather, secluded in the underbrush of the woods. With the scouge running amok through it, its become something feral, full of toxic plants and carnivorous flowers. If you can brave the foliage though, the area is generally empty of scourge pokemon.
The pride of En-Rogel, Eridu City may be a forest, but it is no wilderness. "Treehouses" does their civillization no justice. Built alongside nature, hanging walkways lead up into a canopy of gossamer platforms and open-air villas crafted out of living flora. The city is lit by fairy light and adorned with intricate cotton tapestries. The scourge hold the city under siege.
