The season is SPRING. The cold has finally receeded, and leaves are beginning to sprout from trees. Pokemon are coming out of hibernation and poking their heads out into the world again.
The Colossae consist of twelve gargantuan statues a short distance out from the shoreline, each of them set several miles apart. They face west, seeming to guard the Rogel continent from enemies at sea. Time has washed away much of the detailed carving on the Colossae, but each one of them is unique, perhaps meant as a representation of a specific god or hero. While time takes its toll on them, the scourge couldn't damage the Colossae at all.
