The season is SPRING. The cold has finally receeded, and leaves are beginning to sprout from trees. Pokemon are coming out of hibernation and poking their heads out into the world again.
Shrine of the Small Gods

There is no Shrine of the Small Gods. There is only a small cave where people lived once, and perhaps there was a shrine in there too. Traditionally, the people of En-Rogel have left incense and offerings within the cave to honor lesser known legends, but there is no monastic order here. It seems that the cave is truly blessed though. A small group of outlaws hide at the shrine, and the scourge inexplicably cannot follow them into the cave.
Pelusium Ruins

A thousand years ago, there was a great city here, one that dwarfed any that exist in modern day En-Rogel. Nothing remains but the sturdy foundations of what must have been gargantuan building. The ruins stretch on for miles, but there's nothing worth studying or excavating except dust and stone. The city is curiously absent of ghosts. In the end, the greatest mystery is not how the people of Pelusia lived, but rather how they died.
Zeboim Canyon

There is something wrong about Zeboim Canyon. Walking past it brings no trouble, but if you look into the depths of its fissure, there is only darkness and an overwhelming sense of dread. Explorers have reported that although the canyon is treacherous, it seems normal. The official reports don't mention that there's a cold wind that whispers sweet words into your ears as you traverse the chasm. The scourge avoid Zeboim--they know what lies within there.
Marratu Swamp

A black morass, Marratu Swamp's a suddenly overgrown area in the otherwise desolate Tohu Expanse. Emptiness gives way to dense underbrush, sub-tropical foliage, and aquatic pokemon gathering in the swamp's dark waters. It was never much of a town, but the outcaste of Tohu Expanse called the swamp home. They had a village, but it was destroyed by the scourge. The world doesn't care about them, but there were no survivors.
In general, there is nothing of note in En-Rogel. In Tohu, there is particularly nothing of note--but there is even more of it. Tohu Expanse is the great emptiness, barren land and no civilization, not even a decent road or rest stop for weary travelers. Although it was once home to outlaw groups and wandering tribes, the scourge has decimated what little life existed here.
